It has been reported by Steve Matthes from PulpMX, that one of the biggest motorcycle manufactures in the world has already signed 2 riders to compete in the 2026 Supercross and Pro Motocross season in the USA, after already showing promise in this year’s MXGP championship and Antonio Cairoli’s visit in the states.
Those 2 rider are Justin Barcia and Dylan Ferrandis. Mixing supercross and motocross experience with international appeal and they both know what it takes to win at the highest level.
Ducati is the real deal! The riders in the USA also understand that now after Cairoli impressive results, even battling in the top 10 with a standard bike. The bike also showed great potential in the MXGP even getting a couple of holeshots.
They should partner with TLD gear and Red Bull customized helmets.
We know Ducati can build an amazing bike. Also they are unrivaled in the MotoGP world at the moment, so there is no doubt, they can build a competitive bike for motocross, especially with help from a motocross icon like Antonio Cairoli.
How they will perform, only time will tell. The 2026 AMA season will be a learning one for them but after they figure out the right setups and relationships and find the right rider for their bikes, only the sky is the limit.
But the competition is as stiff as it gets with other brands also having prominent riders like Jett & Hunter Lawrence, Jorge Prado, Chase Sexton and even Haiden Deegan stepping up to the 450 class. The job certainly won’t be easy.
