Since the weekend off after the High Point National, Jett and Hunter Lawrence have established clear dominance in the 2025 Pro Motocross Championship.
Riding their Honda HRC Progressive CRF450Rs, the brothers have finished 1-2 overall at the last four rounds, with Jett winning each one. He remains undefeated in overall finishes this season and has only lost one moto in his 450 Pro Motocross career.
At Spring Creek, Hunter claimed the first moto win—becoming the first rider this season besides Jett or Eli Tomac to win a moto. Jett went down early but charged back to finish second. In the second moto, Jett rode mistake-free to take the win and secure the overall victory. Despite Hunter’s strong performance, he still hasn’t captured an overall win, though he’s never finished outside the top five overall since moving to the 450 class.
Other contenders have struggled: Eli Tomac has dropped off, Chase Sexton isn’t back to full form, and Cooper Webb is sidelined. Meanwhile, the Lawrences have only gotten stronger. Their close rivalry and shared development—like switching bikes on press day—have helped both riders improve.
Team manager Lars Lindstrom praised Hunter’s performance, saying it was one of the few times someone truly challenged Jett. As the season continues, Hunter may be the only rider capable of stopping Jett from completing a perfect overall season—something last achieved by Ricky Carmichael in 2005.
