After a hard crash during the final laps at the MXGP of Germany earlier this season which resulted two broken shoulder bones, we have now received some positive news from the Latvian.
He will be back for the MXGP of Sweden in the middle of August
Here’s what he stated in his Instagram video:
“Yo guys. We’re here in Lommel with Onni Heino from Finland. Working hard to make a return as soon as possible. Unfortunately, no Loket, no Lommel for us, but we will see you in Sweden, still some work to do now. See you soon.”
Pauls Jonass has shown through his career that he has the speed and the talent to compete for the top 5 spots on consistent basis, but somehow often the momentum got sidelined by injuries, not letting us see the full potential that he has.
Even though let’s not forget, he did win the MX2 world championship back in 2017.
Can he return in his old form and notch some top five results or even a podium this season?
